Q1. Does the Tremulation of Arms section (page 36) only apply to 'formed enemy units'?
A1. A unit would be classed as engaged if they had an enemy unit that is at or within six inches of them, and that enemy unit had a fatigue score of 2 or more. A unit with a Fatigue score of 1 would still have to comply with this section if they had a unit that is at or within six inches of them, and that enemy unit had a fatigue score of 2 or more.
Q2. If 'engaged' at the start of movement (page 36) does the half speed rule apply just to movement within 6" or to all movement, even if some of it takes the unit outside 6"?
A2. Once your unit moves outside of six inches it is not engaged and therefore does not need to comply with the rule
Q3. As an 'engaged' unit has to move "either directly towards or away from the nearest enemy unit" - how does this allow a unit to move sideways at half speed or to turn to flank or rear at the cost of a movement segment (page 36) as this would appear to contradict the requirement to move "directly towards or away from"?
A3. The closest enemy unit may be on your units flank or rear so the move side ways with a turn or just a turn may facilitate movement directly towards or away from
